So what happened exactly? You built the help file? What did the dialog say?
And are you sure Workshop is installed? Click on the Open Project in Work Shop and it should open. You can also compile from within there and see if that works.

HTML Workshop is already installed and it continues to be grayed out.

Make sure you install Microsoft's Html Help Workshop which is required to compile your help projects to CHM files as it contains the Html Help Compiler.
You can click on Tools | Html Help Workshop link and if it's not installed it should take you to a download link. Otherwise go to:

to download Help Workshop.

I created a project on a server mapped drive but it did not build the project and "Run Help File" and "Copy Help Files" are grayed out when the project is built.
