I've been working with Merchant Plus for years and been very happy. They are not actually a merchant, but a reseller, but their support has been top notch and awesome for hooking up customers with the right merchant.
I've had a number of issues over the years with my merchant banks, and MP actually stepped in and helped resolve issues, so it goes beyond just handing you your account and then letting you be on your merry way :-).
My current merchant provider is BluePay and they're pretty good, although things are constantly changing. That's what MP is actually good at - they look at your business needs and try to match you with the best merchant for your business. It's a lot easier than having to check out each merchant yourself.
