Are you talking about Help Builder? Help Builder doesn't care which version of VFP is installed and works to build help files for any version.
Can I ask where you saw this in the Help Builder docs or on the site?

I'm finally getting around to this update and saw in the notification email the line...
"You can download the latest version for Visual FoxPro 9.0 and 8.0:"
Does this mean that it is no longer usable with VFP 6 ?
