Hi Marshal,
Yes. Lots of stuff has been added in terms of functionality - support for SSL, better authentication, improved support for more attachments and more reliable email handling in general.
If you have a version from 2002 it's probably a good idea to upgrade. OTOH, if you don't have any problems with the code you're running you're probably just fine.

I've been using a registered version of WWIP since 2002 to programatically send E-Mails from VFP.
Has anything been changed in Version 5?
Do I need to Upgrade?
