As to why class wwipstuff is in there - I have no idea. The topic is not in my help documents, but I guess I need to clean out the project directory before building next time to get the old gunk out of the way...

OK. I managed to figure out how I got the Class wwIPStuff reference. (I knew I wasn't completely insane...) Try this and let me know if you see the same thing. Go to the Search tab. Search for "version". The 14th match for me is "Class wwIPStuff". Assuming you see that bring up that topic. There's a table with the class members. Clicking any one of the member links throws the script error referenced. Clicking yes through the error dialog takes me to the topic for that member.
I'm not seeing that here. I'm looking at the same helpfile dated the saem date. I get no error.
You might want to unblock the help file - you might be prevented from executing script code in the control - but in theory that would break every single topic in the help since they all use jQuery for a few things...

There should be no topic called Class wwIPStuff in a recent version of West Wind Client Tools. The class was removed in favor of PRG classes that represent the specific functionality. So not sure what version you're running, but you might want to make sure you have a recent version

Just starting on my upgrade implementation of WWCT replacing WWIPS. In the process I've found a script error in the help file. Clicking the cVersion link in the Class wwIPStuff tool throws an error. I grabbed screenshots to make it easier for me to show you but it doesn't look like I can embed them here?
The error is:
Line: 106
Char: 1
Error: '$' is undefined
Code: 0
URL: mk:@MSITStore:C:\winauct\3rdparty\wwclienttools\wwclient.chm::/templates/wwhelp.js
