Hi Jim,

Web Connection 5.56 just introduced the ability to host on low cost hosts with a little bit of setup effort.

If you can talk GoDaddy into hosting in Full Trust you can host on GoDaddy. Discount ASP.NET (http://discountasp.net/) can host Web Connection applications in file mode with auto-start or using MTDLL mode. Basically any host that supports ASP.NET and Full Trust operation would work.

More info with what's involved in running on a low cost ISP:

As to FoxPro or SQL data: Not sure what most do but both work and we have customers that do either. For transaction critical apps I tend to prefer SQL Server myself because it's easier to maintain the data and less prone to data corruption, but for smaller applications or less critical ones foxpro data works just fine.

Rick - Do you find most Web Connection developers use FoxPro Tables or are most using SQL? Will sites like GoDaddy host a Web Connection based site. Thanks
Jim in Madison, CT
