This looks like a SP for an existing installation of .Net 2.0. I see from the web page that his download is intended for Win/2K, but do you think I can install this if I don't have .net 2.0 installed already?

I would probably download .NET 4.5 at this point not 2.0. 2.0 code runs on 4.5 so this is the way to go.

Hi Rick,
I want to send email using SMTP/Dot Net (nMailMode = 0).
I used IsDotnet to find out if .NET 2.0 Runtime is installed. It is not.
Does Microsoft provide a download that will permit me me to install .Net 2.0 Runtime on my machine? (I am running Win/2K SP4).
