I want to send email using SMTP/Dot Net (nMailMode = 0).
I used IsDotnet to find out if .NET 2.0 Runtime is installed. It is not.
I found the Microsoft download for .Net 2.0, but it appears that my OS (Win/2K SP4) is not supported for .NET 2.0. Can you confirm this?
If I cannot install .Net 2.0 on my machine, I will have to use the old style method (nMailMode=2) of sending mail.
(I do have another machine that is running Win/XP SP 3; I could install .Net 2.0 on this machine.)

PS Question about how to use your message board:
when I get to the message board by entering this URL to my browser: http://www.west-wind.com/wwThreads
I select the forum but no messages come up: I get the message "No messages posted since " (today's date). How can I see messages that were posted in the past? If I use the Search function, it requires a search string or an author, but how can I see all the messages that were posted in, say, the last month without knowing their subjects or authors?
