I can paste the text into notepad with no problem. I am just copying existing text from within the topic and trying to paste it within the topic in a different location. This issue occurs even for very small topics so it doesn't seem to be an issue with topic size.
Series of events that led up to this issue:
1. Received new workstation (new OS and new applications throughout)
2. Installed latest version of Help Builder (I didn't change any default settings)
3. Copied project onto new system (I had Help Bulder 4.0 on the old system but it wasn't the same rev)
4. Started working on edits within topics and in a very short time can't paste what is copied
I never experienced this issue on my old system.

Hi Steve,
Not sure what would cause that. I haven't seen this behavior and I use Help Builder most of the day every day.
Is there anything else that could be going on? How big is your topic? If you take the same text you're trying to paste and paste it into Notepad what happens?
Are you sure the text you're pasting is a valid text format? Help Builder should be able to deal with plain text, RTF and HTML.

Any assistance is much appreciated,
I just received a new workstation and when I edit a topic and am working in the main body after a short while copy and paste stops working. Copy does work because I can paste into another application such as notepad but trying to paste into the topic body does nothing at all.
Please Help!!!
