Thanks for the suggestions. I'm sure it can be done, but moving to a method without SOAP, since I will be controlling both ends. I'm going to use a VBScript .asp shim page to call a VFP OLE MT dll. And use Server Objects without cookies to perform REST functions, which I hadn't even considered with the WS method yet. This seems to solve the problems while providing the same scalability, and, of course, with the same IIS issues of what did the client do :(. Thank goodness this is an additional paid feature of our product, and not mainstream. We can still publish the Interface Methods available via this interface for developers/partners, providing deeper integration of our product into others.
The clients we supply will be in VFP and VB.net Win RT - yes - Tiles to display our dashboard on a remote Surface RT tablet. And maybe iPhone and Droid.
