both mails answered this morning ...

Hi Gals & Guys.

I have sent two E-Mails to Support regarding this.
Subject Matter -: FAA runtime error - Message 1 and
FAA runtime error - Message 2.

Thanks,

Keith

We just posted with an easier runtime issue reporting tool
Please let us know if it runs fine for you
thanks

Hi HTH.

Hi HTH.

I can find no information regarding this subject within the Adaption
Assistant or the FIC web site. However, I THINK I have posted them
to the FIC Images directory.

The files are named KJones_FileInUse_1.jpg through to KJones_FileInUse_4.jpg

Keith

Keith,
We just posted a new version of FAA providing more explanations on how to share a FAA issue here.
HTH,

Hi Thierry.

Where do I get the debugger information from?
I cannot find any FIC logs with any information contained within.

My 'File Access Denied C:\Program Files (X86)\Microsoft visual Foxpro 9\Tools\AB\AW.VCX'
is just a MessageBox(), that is all I get. The file is there, and not in use as I can
rename both the .VCX and .VCT files.

Further Information-:

I re installed VFP and the FIC Adaption Assistant this morning, all to
default directories. Problem still the same.

Pasting C:\Program Files (X86)\Microsoft visual Foxpro 9\Tools\AB\ into
Windows Explorer takes me to the location of AW.VCX.

Thanks,

Keith

Keith
please post a debugger screenshot when issue occurs
thanks

Hi FIC.

Whilst Adapting my project, I get the error message

'File Access Denied C:\program File (X86)\Microsoft visual Foxpro 9\Tools\AB\AW.VCX'

If I skip this, I get the error message 'File Already Exists'.

If I continue ignoring the above, the Adaption Assistant tells me it cannot find
'FoxITR~.OCX'. Also PDFXCVIEWAX.DLL, both of which I cannot find.

* I have removed and re installed the Adapation Assistant.
* Deleted all AWAdapter files in my home directory for a fresh start.
* Operating System - Windows 8, 64 bit.
* I have not modified my application to remove all non FIC
* compatible items yet.

No other information is given to me to isolate the problem.

Thanks,

Keith
