Hi Plamen,

Really sorry for being unclear about 'waist of time'
What I mean is the following:

You need to adapt your application before running it in the server; FoxInCloud Adaptation Assitant (FAA) automates most adaptations, you need to do some manually like moving modal response processing to some callback method.
Doing these manual adaptations on test\ version of the application is not advisable as this code will be overwritten next time you run FAA.

So you'll probably prefer do these adaptations on your original code; of course, as you know, your application will run exactly the same after these adaptations are performed.

Your server will run fine on the original adapted code.
I confirm there is an issue running it on the test\ copy. We don't view fixing this issue as useful as adapting the test\ code is a useless work. Clients would not be happy loosing their manual adaptations without notice. What we might be looking at is issue a warning when server runs in test\ mode.

Thierry Nivelet

Hi Thierry,

Could you provide some more info on the subject. I have the same problem as B. Reilly - stuck at "... cmoduleinfo.prg does not exist" after DO "<App folder>\xxxTest.prg". I am testing with a really small application just to see the roadmap but no success. Some issues that may be important:
- I chose 'xxx' for my application code just to be sure I don't miss to change some file name or reference.
- I am trying to setup and run my fic server in \test\<app folder> because there is my adapted application. I don't understand why is that "a waist of time" since I don't have another adapted instance.

Best regards
PG

By the way,
Basic idea is to set up a server on a previously adapted source application.
Adapting a test copy of the application looks like a waist of time
