Business Object Bug

Following the DevDemo Videos, I created the pages as demonstrated. When I add a new developer it gets saved and a message appears saying "Developer Saved." But if I click the "Save developer Info" again the same data is saved again with the same PK!

This behavior is the same if I use SQL Server as back-end, but the PK is different each time. But I could not understand the reason for gaps in the keys generated.
