Re: Status of Migrating app - inhouse to Commercial Server

michael captured the exe again and the app launched without asking for a prg.
which prg?
michael hogan and i are still unable to get the app to run on his server. the latest problem is that the ucstest, exe is looking for a prg to run on startup.
The only css file you need to care about is "awDefaultAll.css":
- generate with xxxTest|Prod.css.prg
- copy to your production server
In next version (1.30), awStart.prg!awServerUpdate() will automate all these steps.
thanks. updating this file in test mode seemed to bring all the forms to their current state of develpment. yes /no?
Garth,
"awDefault_3O10UYROV.css" is a css dynamically generated during development; you don't need to upload it to your production server, it'll never be used.
Production server only uses "awDefaultAll.css" (you typed awDefaultCss.all)
thank you very much. that was what was need with respect to utilizing/display current forms. i also uploaded awDefault_3O10UYROV.css which was created along with awDefaultCss.all.
Hi Garth
Did you regenerated and after update awDefaultCss.all in you'r site server?
best regards
1. i just uploaded all the newer files in all folders.
2. i made a cosmetic change to addunit form on my laptop (development) and went through all the steps i have documented to update the web app site on my server. this change appears on the form using localhost but does not appear on app on server site.
garth
not on the source code we have
could you please upload your code so that we can check?
thanks
this property is set to the default. the app's contacts form and all other forms launch fine everywhere but on our site on ideate.LLL. server.
if you refer to this issue
Method or procedure formlaunch_(): error #2005 ("Error loading file - record number 4. CONTACTS . FontCharSet : Error with ucsfrm - FontCharSet : Expression evaluated to an illegal value") at code line #1857
You will solve it by restoring .FontCharSet default value (0)
