I would guess that the save operation changes Recno(grid.recordSource)

thn

Go to the iptest.xxxxxxxxxx.com (you have the url)

Login as SG/SG

scroll down to any random record.
press the edit gl codes button
change something and save
the grid will jump

Hi Tuvia,

Can you give me the exact steps to reproduce?
Opening and closing the GL code form does not change the grid's record pointer on my side.

Thanks,
thn

When I call a certain form from a button in the grid, when the form closes and returns the user to the grid the cursor location in the grid has moved considerably. m it looks like it is trying to put the active record at the bottom of the screen display, alhthoughn that is not consistant.

Where can I address this behavior?

Note: it is the glcode form you originally created that is being called.

thanks
