Mail server login

I had successfully moved over my old WC site to a new server in a different data center. In the old DC, I didn't have to login to the mail server for out going mail.. it was open to servers within the datacenter. In the new DC, I need to login... Does WC 4.15 allow for this? I don't see anything about logging into the server, but want to make sure.
