If you're coming to Southwest Fox next week, I'll be doing a session on .NET COM Interop for Visual FoxPro that will focus on wwDotnetBridge. If you haven't heard wwDotnetBridge is now open source and free so it's available outside of any of our West Wind commercial tools.
You can find out more here:
http://west-wind.com/wwDotnetBridge.aspx
The SWFOX session will highlight benefits of interacting with .NET from FoxPro code in general, using wwDotnetBridge and show a variety of examples that demonstrate how to access the wealth of functionality available in .NET directly from FoxPro code and without having to code anything in .NET (although that's certainly an option and we'll cover that too).
If you're looking for ways to extend your FoxPro apps with system functionality or tools, .NET can be a huge resource for extensibility. Stop by one of the two sessions.
The wwDotnetBridge sessions (marked as Calling .NET Components from Visual FoxPro) are on Friday at 5:15pm and Sunday at 10:00am.
Hopefully see you there...
