What version of Help Builder are you using?

When the document is done - is it formatted at all? Or is there just an error in the header (which is not uncommon). If it's just in the header, double click the header and edit the text.

FWIW, Help Builder is designed for Word 2007 and later, so there might be a few incompatibilities with Word 2003.

Hi Rick,

ich bin einen Schritt weiter: Tools | Generate MS Word Document| Yes | ....working..... |

danach zwei Masken:

Title: Exporting -> Adding Table of Contents
Title: Microsoft Visual Basic -> Das angeforderte Element ist nicht in der Sammlung vorhanden | OK

Der Word-File erscheint und in der Kopfzeile des Wordfiles steht: Fehler! Formatvorlage nicht definiert.

Herzliche Grüße
Dirk

Hi Dirk,

Hmmm... that sounds odd. What version are you running? The latest?

Help Builder should create a new project with a folder structure that includes the template folders that appear to be missing based on your error message. I'm not sure why this would be the case...

Can you check the project folder and see if there is a Templates folder along with an MSWORD folder?

Hallo Rick,

2. Variante
Tools | Generate MS Word Document | No | Select a Template Scheme : MSWORD | OK | Please type a name: TestIt | OK | ......an application error has occurred und ....\tmplates\*.* ist nicht vorhanden

PC-Umgebung: Windows XP/Word 2003

Herzliche Grüße
Dirk

You can ask in German if that's easier :-)

Did you recently upgrade Help Builder? If so you might want to update your templates to the latest version. Back up your project first (or at least your templates) then go to Tools | Options | Update Templates (and Update Icons), to get the latest templates.

Note that if you customized your templates they will be overridden so you want to be careful with that - the old ones are backed up automatically, but you'll have to sync them afterwards. If you didn't customize then it's safe to override them.

Hi,

my english is not the best of all. I have some problems to create a word-file. Here the message:

Header_Template.wcs
ASP Template doesn't exist

Thank
Dirk
