No, that isn't supported. You can limited the top level subtree and only include one when you build your help file - that's about all the limiting you can do.
If you need to send topic information to customers it's often better to just link to Web documentation - you can deploy the help file as HTML to the Web and then link specific topics in the help file via simple Urls.

I mean I want to build a document that includes only one sub topic from my project. Then I can deliver it to clients without them needing to click through the entire help tree to find the one section dealing with their problem. But when I click build help I only get the option to build the whole help doc, none of the subtopics are available to select. I'd attach a picture here, but I'm not sure how...

Is there a way to extract only one topic? When I go to build my file, I can't drill down any lower than my highest topic (which is the whole help doc). I need some individual topics lower in the tree, not the entire help document every time.
