FoxInCloud is clearly targeted at developers, mostly ISVs, who favor a Web solution they can implement easily, prefer to keep their working habits with VFP, want to rely their professional software on layers that have been around for over 20 years (the VFP runtimes and west-wind Web connect), don't want to invest in learning a new language (C# and alien) and/or new technology (HTML/CSS/JS), have understood that when an application runs on the web, nobody cares about the underlying server technology, have also understood that VFP will run on web servers for many years as all the potential UI issues are alleviated.
Lianja and xBase++ are two proofs that the VFP user base is significant (if not why would these 2 companies invest in taking it over), and 2 strong signals not to waste time and money moving out of VFP.
Both Lianja and xBase++ do require some migration, and it'll take 1 or 2 more years before they can compare with a VFP-based solution.
If you can't afford that risk and delay, give FoxInCloud a try!
