The BSTR failure is usually a COM service corruption issue caused by a new type library. You sure there weren't new properties introduced on the server instance?

My tech reports that when installing updated copies of the exe using Update Code Online, she now gets the following error when hitting the app:
BSTRToString Failed on Response. Err code = ffffffff:
But if she then resets IIS, everything works fine (until the next update).
This started happening about 10 days ago, after I updated the app to the 5.62 framework release.
Not a major deal, but just wondered what's going on.
