Marty gave me an idea ...
"Just try brushing the list to scroll it. My Acer A500 tablet does not usually show scroll bars but lists scroll by swiping them. This seems to work with both the Android browser and FireFox...

I try it and it works on text area field only, not on drop-down boxes. Just to let you know.
